You don’t need to replace an entire pair of glasses if the lenses are damaged, scratched, or broken. Reglazing allows you to fit brand-new prescription lenses into your current frames, resulting in crystal-clear vision at a fraction of the cost of buying new glasses.
Whether you’ve bought stylish frames online, have a pair you’re attached to, or simply want to reuse a favourite style, reglazing keeps them in play. We can fit new lenses into practically any frame, so you can enjoy perfect vision without saying goodbye to your favourite frames.
Need thinner, lighter, polarised, or transition lenses? Reglazing is the best way to upgrade your eyewear without starting from scratch. Simply select your new lens options, and we’ll expertly fit them to your existing frames.
Reglazing extends the life of frames, reducing waste. It's a sustainable option that cuts down on unnecessary manufacturing, making it better for your wallet and the planet.
Reglazing glasses, also known as lens replacement, is the process of replacing the lenses in your existing glasses frames with new lenses. This is often a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a brand-new pair of glasses. All you need to do is send us your existing glasses (address supplied after ordering) and we'll send them back with new lenses fitted within 5-7 working days.
Once you've ordered, we'll send you an email with instructions (including our UK reglazing address) on how to send your glasses to us.
Yes, it is possible to reglaze just one lens if needed. However, it's important to note that if your prescription has changed significantly or if your current lenses are damaged, it may be recommended to replace both lenses for optimal vision and comfort. Also, a one-lens reglaze can’t be done if your current lenses are coated, tinted or varifocals, as we will always need to replace both lenses.
In general, most glasses and sunglasses frames can be reglazed as long as they are in good condition and the lenses are the correct size and shape for the frames. This includes rimmed, semi-rimless and rimless frames. It is sometimes not possible to glaze some off-the-shelf sunglasses, so please contact us for further advice.
Yes, you can also reglaze your sunglasses frames with prescription lenses or replace the existing lenses with new tints or polarised lenses. Although we can’t always exactly match your current tint, we always try and match this as closely as we can.
The main benefits of glasses reglazing are cost savings and convenience. Rather than purchasing an entirely new pair of glasses, reglazing allows you to keep your existing frames while updating your lenses to your current prescription or desired tint.
The turnaround time for reglazing glasses can vary depending on the complexity of the prescription and the availability of the lenses. In general, we aim to return your glasses within 7-10 days of receiving them.
You can cancel any time before we start making your lenses in our lab. If you decide to cancel after we have received your glasses, we will just post the frames back to you. Please bear in mind that the reglazing process starts the day we receive your frame(s).
We understand your concern, especially if you have sentimental frames. We glaze thousands of frames every year, and we always take the utmost care of your frames. We do ask that if they are irreplaceable, you send them using special delivery postage to avoid loss in transit.
Although extremely rare, breakages can occur, and reglazing is carried out at your own risk.
Yes, we can fit both these types of lenses, and you can select them during the order process. If your frames do not currently have your own previous varifocal lenses fitted, we ask for a head-on photo of you wearing the glasses.
We do not offer a full money-back guarantee on reglazes as we are using your optician's prescription and taking the measurements from your old lenses. However, we will always work with your optician to correct any problems that arise - although this is very rare.
Yes! Our UVBlue lenses are designed with blue light protection built directly into the lens material, not just as a surface coating. This means they block more harmful blue light, won’t scratch or wear away over time, and remain completely clear without any cosmetic colour on the finished lenses.
Unlike many other companies that use a basic coating (which can degrade quickly and offer limited protection), our built-in technology ensures long-lasting performance. And the best part? You can add blue light protection to any lens type, whether it’s single vision, bifocals, or varifocals, when you reglaze your glasses.
Our reglazing service starts at £34.95, which is a fraction of the normal high street pricing. You get high-quality prescription lenses fitted by experts without the hefty bill.
Yes. We’re happy to reglaze almost any frames, whether you bought them from us, elsewhere online, or on the high street. If your frames are in good condition, we can fit new lenses with ease.
Absolutely. You can choose from our full range of coatings. Simply select your preferred options when ordering (see our coating options further up the page).
